INTRODUCTION
A more critical but still subjective approach to evaluating TV series, as opposed to the hordes of raving fans that usually praise every show as the best show on the planet. Even great shows usually last for only a couple of seasons yet are prolonged over many years. The selection of shows here focuses mostly on sci-fi, fantasy, classic or popular TV series with a good reputation, as well as many prominent mini-series. I judge the shows based on their best seasons that I've seen. The reviews are listed very roughly in order of personal preference and are also divided into three parts: The first contains series I think are special enough to purchase or re-watch, the second lists other interesting or fun series, and the third section is for shows at the bottom of the barrel.
